Shri S.N.Ganju Memorial Interschool Debate 2024

The Mega Annual Event, Shri S.N. Ganju Memorial Inter-School Debate, hosted by Vishwa Bharati Public School, Greater Noida, celebrated both the memory of Shri S.N. Ganju Ji and the power of intellectual discourse. Organized annually across all Vishwa Bharati schools, the event gathered talented students from the region to engage in a thoughtful debate on this year’s topic: Is AI a Threat to Job Security or an Opportunity for New Kinds of Employment? The Principal’s welcome address formally launched the proceedings, after which each of the three eminent judges was introduced: Dr. Pradeep Verma, Associate Professor at Amity University, specializing in Information Technology and Business Analytics; Mr. Sahil Arora, Senior Manager at Qualcomm India Pvt. Ltd., with expertise in AI and Generative AI; and Dr. Gaurav Mishra, Chief Proctor and Head of Amity Polytechnic. The judges lauded the participants for their well-prepared arguments, critical thinking, and the high level of respect exhibited during the exchanges. The Principal, alongside management and the judges, awarded honors to the participants, recognizing their contributions to the day’s intellectual discourse. As a final act of celebration, the school choir performed the school song, reinforcing a sense of unity and tradition within the Vishwa Bharati community.
