ANNUAL SPORTS DAY 2024

The Annual Sports Day and 5th Inter-school Athletic Meet of Vishwa Bharti Public School, Greater Noida took place on 28th December 2024 in an atmosphere full of energy, enthusiasm, and camaraderie. The event was graced by Shri Tejasvi Kumar Sharma, a three-time World Yogasana Champion. The Principal, Mr. Hitesh Sharma, welcomed the guests and dignitaries, presenting a report on the school’s sports activities and the remarkable achievements of the students. The Chief Guest then declared the Meet open, followed by the releasing the colourful balloons, the lighting of the flame by the sports Captain. The guests were then accompanied by the Principal for the inspection of the four House contingents: Vishwa, Satyam, Shivam, and Sundaram followed by a March Past by the students, leaving parents and spectators in awe. The Chief Guest, Shri Tejasvi Kumar Sharma, administered the oath to the school appointments. The Field Drills, themed “Lakshya,” featured stunning performances by the students from Blossoms to Classes VIII-IX, including drills like ‘Zappy Feet Fiesta Happy Feet’, ‘Rhythm Riders Drill’, and ‘Thunder Bolt Drill’. The Track Events saw exciting races such as the Pick-up Race, Balloon Burst Race, and Relay Races across the Pre-Primary, Primary, Middle, and Senior Wings. Winners received medals, trophies, and certificates during the Prize Distribution ceremony. Parents cheered enthusiastically for the participants throughout the event, creating a lively and supportive atmosphere. The chief guest appreciated the efforts of the participants and urged everyone to embrace ‘yoga’ and fitness as a way of life. The event was further honoured by the presence of several distinguished management members whose dedication has played a crucial role in the school's success. We were privileged to have Dr. Saroj Koul, Honourable Management Member, who addressed the gathering, acknowledging the hard work of our students and motivating them to continue striving for excellence. We were also honoured by the presence of Dr. V.K. Ganju, General Secretary of Vishwa Bharati Women's Welfare Institution, Shri Virender Saigal, Honourable Management Member, and our esteemed Principals of Vishwa Bharati Public School, Noida and Ghaziabad. In the Closing Ceremony, the Meet was declared officially closed, and the School Flag was handed over to the Principal by the Sports Secretaries after a Slow March, followed by the extinguishing of the flame with the Beating of the Retreat. The Vote of Thanks was proposed by Shri M.L. Nakashi Vice President of Vishwa Bharati Women's Welfare Institution bringing the event to a fitting conclusion, which ended with the school song followed by National Anthem, leaving everyone with a sense of pride and accomplishment.
