A workshop on disaster management was conducted by Zone 4 solution under the guidance of NDMA in the school auditorium. The aim was to make teachers and students aware of doing first aid without a first aid box. The event also trained the participants for rescue operations in case of disaster.
Over 100 students attended the event along with the principal, heads and teachers. The workshop was very interesting and informative.
On 12th September 2019,the school organized workshops for classes VI to IX on personal hygiene. There were separate workshops for girls and boys. For girls the resource person Ms. Mehak from “Global Hunt Foundation-Creating Sustainable Solutions”, shared information and knowledge pertaining to adolescence, menstruation and personal hygiene. She distributed sanitary napkins to the girls. For the boys, Mr. Brijesh Singh and Mr. Love Kumar conducted a workshop informing them about the need and ways to maintain hygiene. They spoke about the different changes they might experience during this time of adolescence.
