Vishwa Bharati Public School, Greater Noida organized it’s annual event 'Supernova', a two day array of inter-school competitions on various topics and levels, on the 1st and 2nd of November 2019. A number of schools of repute participated in the events that were interspersed over 2 days. Both the days commenced with the ‘Lighting of the Lamp' by the Eminent members of the Management Committee , who were assisted by the Principal of the school Ms. Mahendri Devi. She thereafter delivered the welcome message.

The highlight of the first day was the Sterling Shree S.N. Ganjoo Memorial Debate Competition, named after the founder and erstwhile General Secretary of the school. The topic of the debate was 'Nuclear energy should be used more freely as an alternate source of energy'.

There were competitions for all age groups. On the first day, there was 'The Great Orator', a costume and speech competition for the primary section, 'Run for Fun', comprising a number of track events for the pre-primary children, 'Kavyachitrawali' – a Hindi poem writing competition for the middle section and 'Outsider Art', in which the senior students competed to showcase the innovative use of eco-friendly waste.

On the second day, the competitions ranged from the scholarly Mathademics to creative ‘Ikebana', ‘Nrityangan’, ‘Suktimuktikam’ and ‘Panorama’ for the students.

200 students from 22 schools of Greater Noida , Noida and Delhi actively participated in all the events with eagerness and enthusiasm, thus making the 'Supernova 2019’ a successful endeavor of the school.
